Cookie & Storage Notice
This notice explains how Chart-echo uses browser storage and cookies, including the essential storage we rely on and the consent-based analytics and advertising tools we use.
Your Consent Choices
Chart-echo uses Cookiebot to manage cookie consent. Where consent is required (for example in the UK and EU), non-essential cookies and tracking scripts are automatically blocked until you accept them.
You can review or change your choices at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer, which reopens the consent banner. Withdrawing consent stops further non-essential cookies; cookies already set may persist until they expire or you clear them in your browser.
Essential Storage (No Consent Required)
accessToken and refreshToken (local storage): keep you signed in and authenticate API requests.
user (local storage): basic account information needed to render the signed-in interface.
theme (local storage): remembers your light or dark theme preference.
CookieConsent (cookie, set by Cookiebot): records your consent choices so we can honour them. This is strictly necessary and is not used for advertising.
Analytics & Advertising (Consent Required)
Google Ads (Google tag): measures advertising performance and subscription conversions. It may set Google advertising and conversion cookies (for example _gcl_au) and is loaded only after you consent to marketing cookies.
Meta Pixel (Facebook): measures advertising performance and helps build audiences for ads on Facebook and Instagram. It may set Meta cookies (for example _fbp) and is loaded only after you consent to marketing cookies.
In regions where consent is required, these tools stay blocked by Cookiebot until you accept marketing cookies.
Third-Party Storage
Stripe-hosted checkout or billing pages may use Stripe cookies or similar technologies under Stripe policies, including for payment and fraud prevention.
External sites opened from Chart-echo, such as market data attributions or social sharing destinations, may use their own cookies and tracking.
Managing Cookies & Storage
Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to reopen the consent banner and change your choices at any time.
You can also clear Chart-echo cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing local storage may sign you out and reset preferences.
Logging out removes locally stored authentication and user data from the browser.
